Sophie is a 13 year old Tibetan Terrier who has lost most of her teeth. We are trying to help her keep the few that remain. She had what we hoped would be her last dental surgery on March 25th of this year. A couple of weeks into her recovery, her vet and I discussed the importance of daily care. Sophie HATES to have her teeth brushed, probably because she had severe gingivitis for many years, and it hurt!!! I was able to reduce the discomfort of her gingivitis for the past several years with a treatment that I received from Homeoanimal. That at least allowed me to gently massage her gum line with my finger and Virbac’s Enzymatic Toothpaste. When I told her vet about the Tarter Treatment that Homeoanimal offers, she was excited, and we agreed that I would try it.
I purchased your Optimal Kit for Tartar, and on May 18th - almost 8 weeks after her dental surgery - we began. We have done the treatment twice a day every day for just a little over three weeks.
